This drum set exceeded my expectations in every way. It came complete with cymbals, drum sticks, all stands/hardware, and a drum stool. Was pretty easy to put together with the supplied web site and video (took approx. 1 hour from start to finish). It has a sharp look to it, and has a good sound - it's definitely loud! My neighbors are going to love me. It appears to be very sturdy. Really can't think of any negatives, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody looking for a beginner/starter set.

It is a wonderful set for kids but the directions are written for professional musicians with one glaring oversight which is that the directions describe how to assemble each piece but not how to connect the entire set together. My suggestion is to print out the photo and use that as your guide instead of using the one page of directions...you will get to sleep a lot sooner. Otherwise, our 4 year old loves it. Also, search ear plugs and purchase those as well.
